Lockyers Trackhead camping area (walk-in camping)

If you’re a walker with a penchant for European history, you can follow part of the original route across the Blue Mountains on the Lawsons Long Alley and Lockyers Loop Road (4 hrs, 11 km return), setting out from either Mt York Rd from the town of Mount Victoria, or Hartley Vale. Keep an eye out for remnants of the original road. Lockyers Trackhead is midway between Hartley Vale and Collits Inn – it’s walk-in only.
