Silks Brasserie

It’s like taking a trip to Europe when you step through the door of this gorgeous local darling. From the distinctive tiled floor to the Parisian bar, elegance emanates from the walls of this little brasserie, and the fact that the building is 110 years old and has an interesting history is an added bonus. The menu combines French and Asian influences in dishes such as tartlet of pan-seared scallops on goat curd with pickled pear and eggplant. This is absolutely worth a detour, but make sure you book.
