Aboriginal Blue Mountains Walkabout

Declared ‘Australia’s best walking experience’, this multifaceted tour is steeped in the ancient culture of the Dharug people and will have you seeing the bush in a new way. Not only will you hike in hidden gorges from Faulconbridge to Springwood, but you will be encouraged to smell, touch and listen to the bush. There are meditation exercises and dances, ochre painting and swimming holes where you can go for a dip. The tour involves around four hours of walking along wild bush tracks, with a gentle and personable guide, uncovering Aboriginal signs and symbols.
