Careys camping area is 2.6 km north of Wee Jasper next to Burrinjuck Dam, via Caves Rd. You can fish, swim or strike out on a walking trail, and launch a boat from the ramp as long as the dam is more than 60 per cent full. Bring your own drinking water and firewood.

This campsite is located in Careys Reserve

This reserve is named for John Carey, who discovered a beautiful limestone cave nearby in 1875. Careys Cave is on Caves Rd, not far past the reserve, and is open for guided tours.
