Long Gully camping area
You can camp with your vehicle at this spot in the park’s south, accessed via Long Gully Rd off Yadboro Forest Rd, or via the Western Distributor. It’s next to Yadboro River at the foot of the mighty Budawangs. Nearby Monolith Valley is considered the Budawangs’ pièce de rèsistance, but it’s pure wilderness, so make sure you’re well prepared before you go exploring. There are toilets and picnic tables at the camping area. Bring your own wood.

This campsite is located in Morton National Park
Morton National Park is a world of dense bush, spectacular sandstone country, deep gullies and thundering waterfalls. This national park has been a popular retreat for more than a century – well-developed visitor sites are a feature in the northern section, while the south, which includes the rugged Budawang Ranges, caters for the wilderness-savvy walker. While Pigeon House Mountain is better known, the strenuous hike up to the Castle is spectacular, with incredible views over the Budawang Ranges.
