Burraga Dam camping area
Campsite
Where once this dam serviced a large copper-mining operation, it now supplies water for agriculture and the residents of Burraga. It also provides a peaceful camping area, where visitors can swim, fish and picnic. Burraga is 70 km south of Bathurst via Rockley Rd; the camping area is 2 km north-east of Burraga via Arkstone Rd. You’ll only be able to get a caravan in here during dry weather, and you’ll need to bring your drinking water and firewood with you.
