Greenbah camping area
Pack your binoculars and bird-identification guide before heading to this camping area next to Greenbah Creek, as it’s a top spot for birdwatching. To reach it, turn off Trewilga–Baldry Rd onto the Sawpit Gully Trail – this road is narrow and unsealed, so suitable for small caravans only, and it’s 2WD access in dry weather only. There’s a walking track leading to Burrabadine Peak, and cycling is possible along the access road. Bring your own drinking water and firewood.

This campsite is located in Goobang National Park
A range of plant and animal life is preserved in Goobang National Park, along with picnic sites, views from Caloma Trig, bushwalking trails and bush-camping opportunities. You can also ride a horse through the park, as long as you have a permit. Roads are open to conventional vehicles, though heavy rain can make them boggy. The park is 30 km from Parkes, off the Newell Hwy.
