Glendora is one of 2 camping areas in the vicinity of Hill End, 85 km north of Bathurst via Sofala and 72 km south of Mudgee. Hill End’s fascinating gold-rush history draws crowds of up to 35,000 annually, and it’s well worth a visit. The spacious camping ground is 1 km north of town, on the way to the Bald Hill Lookout. There are coin-operated showers here; bring your own firewood.
