This is one of 2 camping areas in the vicinity of Hill End, a small village with a fascinating goldmining history. Hill End is 85 km north of Bathurst via Sofala and 72 km south of Mudgee; the campground is in the village, on Warry Rd, and there are plenty of non-camping options nearby. Unlike the Glendora camping area at Hill End, the Village camping area has powered sites for caravans and a laundry. Stay the night and take your time wandering through the historic buildings in the village. Bring your own firewood.
