This is one of 2 camping areas in the vicinity of Hill End, a small village with a fascinating goldmining history. The village is 85 km north of Bathurst via Sofala and 72 km south of Mudgee; the campground is in the centre of the village, on Warry Rd, and there are plenty of non-camping options nearby. Unlike the Glendora camping area at Hill End, the Village Campground has powered sites for caravans. Stay the night and take your time wandering through the historic buildings in the village.
