Newnes private camping area
Campsite
This is a small private area opposite the Newnes Hotel on the Wolgan River in Newnes, an old oil-shale-mining town 34 km north of Lidsdale on the Castlereagh Hwy (Mudgee Rd). The camping area is adjacent to Wollemi National Park, so don’t let your dogs wander over the boundary.
