This is one of a handful of delightful riverside camping spots along the Turon River, close to historical Sofala, one of Australia’s oldest surviving goldmining towns. Ration Point can be reached via Upper Turon Rd – the turn-off is about 100 m past a small bridge, 2.8 km east of Sofala. Bring your own drinking water and firewood.
