Wallaby Rocks Crossing camping area
Campsite
This is another of the small camping areas picturesquely set beside the Turon River close to the historic goldmining town of Sofala, 45 km north of Bathurst. Wallaby Rocks Crossing is on the eastern side of the bridge, 4.6 km west of Sofala on Hill End Rd. There’s fishing and swimming in the river, and a large waterhole nearby. Bring your own drinking water and firewood.
