Warren Weir camping area
Campsite
Warren is a laid-back country town on the Macquarie River, 80 km west of Gilgandra on the Oxley Hwy. The weir is 5 km south of town; the camping and picnicking area is on the western side, accessed via Dubbo St. It’s a good spot for fishing, but if you want to swim or paddle you’ll need to head for the eastern side of the weir. Campers should bring their own drinking water and firewood.
