Camp Wambelong camping area
Campsite
Camp Wambelong is about 1 km past the visitor centre, and is close to the Split Rock, Grand High Tops and Mt Exmouth walking tracks. There are 30 sites here – if you’re in a large group you’ll need to book in advance; if you’re in a small group, bookings are advisable in peak periods. There’s untreated water here, so you’ll need to boil it first before drinking. Bring your own firewood.
