Campsite
You’ll find this basic camping area 1 km west of rustic Wattle Flat, 8 km down the road from Sofala. Both Wattle Flat and Sofala have a winning, down-to-earth charm born of their fascinating goldmining past, as well as the beauty of the surrounding countryside. Wattle Flat is 40 km north of Bathurst via the Bathurst–Kelso Rd. Heritage Grove camping area is signposted on Thompson St. You’ll need to bring your own firewood.
