This is a sprawling space on the shores of Wyangala Dam, offering powered and unpowered tent and caravan sites, bungalows, cabins, cottages and houseboats. Activities include waterskiing, sailing and fishing – the latter a particular drawcard given the abundance of silver and golden perch, brown and rainbow trout and Murray cod. To reach the camping area, follow Darbys Falls Rd or Woodstock–Wyangala Rd from the Mid-Western Hwy. You’ll need to bring your own firewood; gas/fuel stove preferred. Note: book ahead for peak periods.
