Timbertown is a re-created 1880s sawmillers’ village that features a craft gallery and leather-goods outlet, a working bullock team, horse-drawn wagons, a smithy and wood-turner, a restored steam train offering rides, and sleeper-cutting demonstrations. The authentic Timbertown hotel serves damper and roast meats with Australian bush songs playing in the background. The adjacent church is home to the Historical Society Museum.
