Greta Main Pay Office B&B
This B&B was once the pay office of an early 20th-century coalmine, which ceased operation in 1973. The surrounding 33 hectares was returned to natural bushland. The original pay window, brick entrance and safe (which was large enough to convert into a kitchen) are still prominent features of the guesthouse. The five comfortable ensuite guest rooms have a country ambience, and each has its own verandah. There is plenty to explore here: take a wander through the gardens to meet the latest batch of ducklings at one of the ponds, and keep an eye out for kangaroos grazing in the paddocks in the late afternoon.
