This sprawling homestead sleeps 8 people (with another 5 beds in an adjacent cottage), and supplies 240-volt power, hot showers, a wood fireplace and cooking equipment. There’s a smorgasbord of things to do here, including bushwalking around Mt Yengo, horseriding, mountain-biking, 4WD touring, birdwatching and wildlife spotting. The homestead is in the Big Yango Precint, so you’ll need to contact the park office to get access through the locked gate. Two weeks’ advance booking and payment required. Note: 4WD access only.
