This peaceful, relaxed setting is on the shore of Dumaresq Dam, 12 km north-west of Armidale, via Boorolong and Dumaresq Dam roads. Fishing, birdwatching and canoeing are all popular activities, and there’s a walking track around the dam. There’s one power pole. The closest dump point is in Armidale Arboretum, on the south side of town. Bring your own firewood.
