This natural clearing is just off the Bruxner Hwy, next to Crooked Creek. It’s a pretty basic setup, but there are sheltered picnic tables, toilets and wood BBQs, which makes it a suitable spot overnight or for a short stay.

This campsite is located in Girard State Forest

Cycling, horseriding, bushwalking and 4WD touring are the main activities available in this former mining region, 30 km east of Tenterfield along the Bruxner Hwy.
