Wollomombi Falls – Oxley Wild Rivers National Park

Wollomombi Falls is located in Oxley Wild Rivers National Park, which has some of the best gorge scenery in the country. Bush-covered ridges drop down into near vertical ravines, whose walls are still actively eroding. Wollomombi Falls send a gush of water 240 metres down into the valley below. Access is via Waterfall Way between Armidale and the coast. Three other falls are also in the park: Dangar Falls, south of Armidale, drop 120 metres into another impressive gorge; Aspley and Tia falls are south-east of Walcha.
