Campsite
This pleasant, grassy, treed area makes a relaxing place to camp, swim and fish. The river’s a bit chilly in winter but very refreshing in hot weather. It’s about 30 km north-east of Tamworth and 11 km east of Kootingal, accessed via the Kootingal–Limbri Rd. Bring your own drinking water and firewood.
