Originally built for sluicing gold Sheba Dams Reserve, 11 km east of Nundle, is now a comfortable summer family-camping area. You can fish, swim or paddle and there’s a 1.2 km walking track leading around the dam. There’s an undercover cooking area here as well. To get here, take the Nundle–Barry Rd from Nundle. Bring your own drinking water and firewood.
