Named for the acacias that flower along the banks of the Styx River in early spring, Wattle Flat is a spacious, grassed area ringed with eucalypts, with welcoming river pools nearby. Turn on to Loop Rd from Styx River Forest Way. Bring your drinking water and firewood.
