Warialda is a historic town in a rich farming district. Its location on Warialda Creek gives the town a charm and contributes to its lush greenery. The origin of Warialda's name is uncertain but is thought to mean 'place of wild honey' and is presumed to be in the language of the original inhabitants, the Weraerai people.
