Campsite

To get to this camping area, turn off the Gwydir Hwy onto unsealed Coachwood Dr and follow the road to the end. It’s a short walk from car to tent. There are toilets and picnic tables and water in the creek (boil/treat before using, or bring drinking water). The medium-difficulty Washpool Walk (8.5 km return, 3.5–5 hrs) leaves from here, passing through several types of forest and crossing Coombadjha Creek.
