Mooraback Campground

Campsite

Mooraback is in the west of the park, accessed by 2WD in dry weather via Mooraback Rd off Kangaroo Flat Rd from the Oxley Hwy. If you have a 4WD, you can access via Racecourse Trail from Brush Mountain. There are a number of enjoyable walking tracks leading from here, including the medium Platypus Pools Walk (5 km) and Mooraback Trail (7 km, 2.5 hrs). Firewood is supplied and there’s water in the creek, but you’ll need to boil or treat it before drinking.
