This park appeals to us each time we stay here. The neat, well-maintained place is located on the Barrier Highway about 1 km west of the shopping centre. There are good amenities and it is an ideal overnight stop for travellers or a good base for exploring the local area. The park does not take bookings and sites are allocated on a first in, first served basis. During the busy winter months it is advisable to arrive early, as the park fills regularly.
