Culgoa River Campground
Campsite
Don’t get too excited about fishing and swimming, as the river here is often dry. Instead, you can camp among the gidgee trees and take the Riverbank Walk to the river, or the Connellys Walk through stands of tall cypress pines. To get here, take the Weilmoringle–Byra Rd from Weilmoringle. Note: this is a remote area, so bring plenty of petrol and drinking water. Wood fires are not permitted. Roads are unsealed and often impassable after rain. Contact the parks office for access details.
