Camp right on the Darling River at this newly established site on the north-western side of Louth Rd. From Bourke, head south along the Kidman Way and turn right onto Louth Rd. Follow the road about 45 km and watch for a sign to the right. Bring your own drinking water and advise parks of your intended visit. Wood fires aren’t permitted, so bring a gas/fuel stove.

This campsite is located in Gundabooka National Park

The Gunderbooka Range rises majestically from this spectacular national park, 50 km south of Bourke. The range makes such a dramatic contrast to the flatness of the surrounding landscape that it’s hardly surprising it holds sacred significance for the Ngemba Aboriginal people, who have adorned its flanks and foothills with rock art.
