On the road to Cameron Corner from Tibooburra, on roads that are unsealed and only accessible in dry weather, this campground is near the ephemeral Lake Pinaroo, providing terrific birdwatching when the lake is filled with water. There’s an informative nature walk starting at the campground and leading to the lake. Wood fires are not permitted, but there are gas/electric barbecues. Cameron Corner, 30 km away, has basic meals and accommodation.
