The Poets’ Recall Motel & Licensed Restaurant
The name ‘Poets’ Recall’ was bestowed on the humble Railway Hotel when it and much of the town was rebuilt in 1875. You’ll discover more fascinating and dramatic history about the town’s literary-themed, flood-ravaged streets when dining at this quaint little country restaurant. While it’s more famous for its location and heritage, the food here is honest, wholesome and delicious. Try a cob of homemade bread and bowl of hearty soup, or a perfectly cooked steak. This is a great place to stop for a meal and absorb some local history.
