Whale- and dolphin-watching around Huskisson

Many seaside towns on the South Coast have rightfully decided to champion the passing parade of marine mammals. From May to November there are more two-to-three-hour, whale- and dolphin-watching cruises than you can wave a fin at, with sightings of humpbacks and southern right whales common, and occasional sightings of minkes, orcas, pilots and blue whales. Nearly all cruises operate under strict guidelines to protect the animals, and unethical operators are very rare. At the time of publication, the only fully certified operator with EcoTourism Australia was Dolphin Watch Cruises at Huskisson.
