There are a number of opportunities for self-sufficient campers to strike out and find a site for themselves. The rules are you must camp more than 100 m from the coastline and roads, and 500 m from villages, and camping and picnic areas. Contact the parks office for maps and information. Campfires are not permitted. Bring your own everything.

This campsite is located in Murramarang National Park

Murramarang National Park rims the south coast for 44 km and includes Darras Lake and several small offshore islands. The park features a string of lovely coves, sandy and shingle beaches, intriguing weathered sea stacks, rock platforms and a backdrop of low mountains. It’s 10 km north of Batemans Bay via the Princes Hwy.
