The White House is Nowra’s only heritage-listed property (c. 1921), combining old-world charm, contemporary comfort and a relaxed ambience. There is a range of suites available, from single rooms to family rooms and luxury spa rooms. In addition, there are luxury spa cotteage rooms, separate from the main building, with private entrances, verandahs and four-poster beds. Inside the guesthouse there’s a library with a log fire and a leafy verandah overlooking the gardens and the riot of resident birdlife. The local area has a range of activities on offer, from diving, sea-kayaking and kite-surfing to bushwalks including Bens Walk at the Shoalhaven River, with easy access to Jervis Bay National Park.
