Campsite

It’s 2WD dry-weather access only to this camping ground. To get here from the north, follow the Snowy Mountains Hwy from Nimmitabel and turn onto Packers Swamp Rd. Turn left onto Cattlemans Link Trail, and follow it to the campsite. From the south, take Tantawangalo Mountain Rd from Mt Darragh Rd, turn left onto New Line Rd and then right onto Packers Swamp Rd. Head north to Cattlemans Link Trail and follow this to the campsite. It’s a picturesque site with an easy 5 km loop walking track with lookouts over a high-altitude perched swamp. There are also some interesting pastoral ruins, including stockyards, in a clearing across the road from the start of the Nunnock Swamp walk. Bring drinking water and firewood.
