Pigeon House Mountain/Didthul, Morton National Park The Ulladulla section of Morton National Park features this eye-catching mountain, which Captain James Cook thought looked like a square dovehouse with a dome on top, hence its name. The local Aboriginal people obviously had a different viewpoint and named it Didhol, meaning 'woman's breast'. The mountain has now been assigned a dual name by the Geographic Names Board. The area is an Aboriginal women's Dreaming area. A 5 km return walk to the summit (for the reasonably fit) provides breathtaking 360-degree views taking in the Pacific Ocean, Budawang Mountains and Clyde River Valley. 25 km NW.
