Bundanoon

This heritage-listed building has gradually evolved from the original general store to a bicycle hire and repair shop that had the bright idea of serving coffee, to its current life as a popular cafe and mountain-bike hire outlet. A low-key, comfortable place, the ploughman’s lunch makes it worth a second visit, as do the scones and homemade cakes. If you pop in early on a Thursday morning you can join the bike group touring the area (bicycle hire is free on Thursday), and if bike riding isn’t your favourite activity you can join a group of walkers departing at the same time.
