It’s a 10 km southward-bound walk from Bundeena to this camping area or 17 km north from Otford on the Coast Track. While you can drive to the nearby picnic area, the campsite is for the exclusive use of walkers; a ranger checks the carpark at day’s end and locks the access gate. Nestled near the beach, an inviting lagoon and your own private waterfall, Providential Point is coastal bush camping at its best. Bring your own water or treat before drinking.

This campsite is located in Royal National Park

Royal National Park, Australia’s oldest national park, has a rich cultural heritage, both European and Indigenous. It combines magnificent untamed sandstone country with Victorian-era gardens and memorable views to make it one of the state’s favourite parks – and it’s just a stone’s throw from Sydney.
