Bodega gleams from its unlikely location on a gritty inner-city street. It’s easily recognisable by the guests clamouring for a seat, as this establishment honours a no reservations policy. However, this is one eatery that is certainly worth the wait for a table. An incredible tapas menu awaits, with clever little concoctions available such as ‘fish fingers’ – sashimi kingfish on garlic toast with cuttlefish. The funky interior is lively in the evenings and remarkably tranquil for a lunchtime feast.
