Barham and its twin town, Koondrook, sit beside the Murray River and the New South Wales–Victoria border. Barham is known as the southern gateway to Golden Rivers country and is surrounded by river flats and red hills. The Murray River makes Barham a great place for anglers with Murray cod, golden perch, catfish and yabbies in abundance.
