Cape Byron Lighthouse
Cape Byron is the easternmost point on mainland Australia and provides visitors with breathtaking views up and down the coast. Dolphins can be seen year-round in the Pacific Ocean and majestic humpback whales migrate up the coast between June and July, and return between September and October. Completed in 1901, the 22-metre Cape Byron Lighthouse has a visitor centre with displays on the area’s cultural and natural history.
