The Balcony Bar & Restaurant
After climbing the flight of stairs, you may think you’ve entered an Asian and retro furniture shop. But this eclectic mix of decor is all part of The Balcony’s bohemian charm. If it’s a warm night, try to grab a table on the balcony overlooking Byron Bay’s main street. The world menu caters to both vegetarians and coeliacs. Breakfast dishes could include a Mexican quesadilla, while lunch meals range from a kangaroo burger to a Caesar salad. Tapas dishes such as the spicy meatballs are perfect alongside a cocktail from the well-stocked bar, but if you’re looking for something more substantial, the paella for two is excellent.
