Wooliana on the Daly

On the eastern bank of the Daly River, about three hours drive from Darwin and Katherine, Woolianna is 15 kilometres downstream of the Daly River crossing. This is primarily a camping ground but there are two self-contained units available, one for up to eight people. Woolianna is a small, friendly park that caters mainly for anglers but is a favourite haunt for Darwinites who want to explore the Daly. The grounds are beautifully landscaped and shaded by mango trees, and the pool is relaxing and cool. A great base from which to see the sights of the region.
