In Darwin’s old Chinatown, this cafe is a Darwin institution. It first opened its doors in 1973, the year before cyclone Tracy struck, and is a favourite haunt for anyone who loves a hearty breakfast and good coffee. At lunch, dishes like red chicken curry or crumbed squid with spinach and bacon salad have an Asian twist, perfect for the tropics. Roma Bar’s homemade roti is excellent.
