Paradise Bay camping area (boat-based camping)
In the north of the island, this camping area has toilets and bore water on tap, but it needs to be boiled or treated before drinking. A couple of bushwalks lead from here. Campers are encouraged to use gas/fuel stoves rather than fires.

This campsite is located in Barranyi (North Island) National Park
You can only access this spectacular haven in the Sir Edward Pellew islands group by boat and visitors must be self-sufficient. Once there you’ll find superb fishing for species such as northern bluefin tuna, spanish mackerel, queenfish and trevally. There are long white sandy beaches great for walking and beachcombing, and plenty of birdwatching opportunities; 4 species of sea turtle also nest along these beaches.
