Katherine Museum

At this historic air terminal from World War II (Katherine no longer has an airport), kids love to watch the video of the devastating 1998 Katherine floods. You can also see Aboriginal artefacts, historic homewares and tools, and a Gypsy Moth plane flown by daring pilot-doctor, Clyde Fenton, who pioneered an aerial ambulance service for the region in the 1930s.
