This campsite is located in Keep River National Park

Some of the best short walks in the country await you in Keep River National Park. Right on the border with WA, it’s the start of the Kimberley, so there are some magnificent Bungle Bungle rock formations, ravines full of towering livistona palms, spinifex plains and eucalypt woodlands. Water is in short supply, but there is a public water tank about 5 km off the Victoria Hwy, just past the ranger station. An information board is situated at the ranger station, and a few small walks go from there, including to a stone structure used by Aboriginal people to hunt birds. Roads are inaccessible during the Wet, and can be quite difficult immediately after the Wet.
